Posted on 22 April 2015

The east coast of Australia is one of the most popular travelling trails in the world and with good reasons - there’s heaps of amazing stop offs along the way and plenty to see and do too!

So where are are favourite places to break up the route?

Sydney - most people start or finish their East Coast Adventure in amongst the bustling cityscape of Sydney. If you’re starting here let us know as we have some great intro packs to kick of your adventure in the bets possible way!

Byron Bay - Oh Byron, how we love you! This hippy surf town towards the north of New South Wales embraces the beach life big time. Buskers roam the streets, barefoot is the dresscode and the pace of life really slows down!

Surfers Paradise - often described as the Miami of Australia it’s where the glitz and glamour of city life meets the ocean. And with that comes a great mix of chilled beach vibes alongside nightlife, shopping and that incredible skyscraper skyline.

Fraser Island - the biggest sand island in the world is also home to some of the greatest adventures on the East Coast! Jump on a tag along 4 x 4 tour, cruise along the beaches, through forets and around inland lakes. Camping under the stars here will no doubt be a highlight of your trip.

Whitsundays - alongside Fraser Island a sailing trip in amongst the Whitsunday Islands has to be on your Australia to do list. Snorkel around pristine reefs, grab a selfie at the famed Whitehaven Inlet and enjoy some god ocean vibes aboard one of the many sailing boats in the area.

Cairns - Usually the end of the road for most (unless you pencil in Cape Tribulation) this is the gateway to the Great Barrier Reef and scuba diving is the order of the day. Complete your PADI Open Water, fun dive or jump on board a snorkel day trip to experience some more of Australias natural beauty.
